MUMBAI: In what will be a big relief for Team India, skipper Rohit Sharma, who had retired hurt while batting on 11 off 5 balls in the third T20I due to back spasm in Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts, on Tuesday, will be available for the last two games of the India-West Indies T20I series on Saturday and Sunday in Lauderhill, Florida.
“Yes, Rohit has recovered from his back spasms and is fit now. He and coach Rahul Dravid will join the team in Miami after they had to go to Guyana with a few other players for interviews for the US Visa,” a source in the BCCI told TOI.
Rohit has made scores of 64, 0 & 11* in the five-match series, which India leads 2-1.
